Definition of Memo

Memo : Memo is the short form of memorandum. A memo is a short piece of writing generally used for internal communication.

According to RC Sharma and Krishna Mohan "A memo is a short piece of writing generally used by the officers of an organization for communication among themselves".

From the above discussion we can say that; memo is a short piece of writing used between executives and subordinates of the same level of an organization.
